Dear friends:
Well… it’s been a challenging month. More for Betsy’s family than for Scott and me. But pain and sadness are equal opportunity emotions, and Scott and I have been going through some very challenging feelings. Betsy was a dear close friend, and comrade for many years. There would be no Silver Lake Together without Betsy. And certainly no newsletter. Our initial thought was to suspend SLT and its newsletter. But that reaction came from sadness. After taking a couple weeks to process her passing, we decided we owe it Betsy and her legacy to carry on.
Please be patient with us. As we move forward, we know mistakes will be made. Ultimately, our goal is to continue with SLT knowing Betsy will be our guardian angel.
Scott and I send our deepest sympathies to Betsy’s wonderful family. You all provided Betsy comfort, love and security during a very difficult time.
We love and miss you, Betsy.
