An Open Letter From Anne-Marie Johnson

From moving tribute to ragged remnants --what's left of the June 2020 installation on

the fence around the reservoir should be cleaned up and replaced with a more respectful tribute. The photo above shows

the "Say Their Names" memorial in its original condition. At right is some of what's left now.

Ms. Johnson, co-founder of SLT and a passionate Silver Lake advocate, submitted this

letter explaining why she thinks it’s time for a more respectful tribute to Black victims of

law enforcement actions.
