According to the latest tally from the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County
Clerk, current CD 4 Councilmember Nithya Raman is leading challenger Ethan Weaver
with 50.64% of the vote to 38.62% (32,343 votes to 24,666.) If this trend continues,
Raman will not face a runoff election in November and will be re-elected to her council
district seat, which includes a small portion of Silver Lake. However, votes are still being
counted and final results have not been announced.
